Truth About Abs book talks about nutritional values when shopping at the grocery store, especially labels. In order to have a healthy, nutritional meal, the book speaks about reading the label and the truth about abs being aware of foods that claim to be “low fat,” and “better than the real thing,” the book also speaks about eating organic foods. These are foods, which comes from nature, such as “cage-free” eggs and “grass-fed” meats, and vegetables. The book recommends several changes to the diet:
1) Cook with organic butter. The best kind is “grass-fed” organic butter. Saturated fat is healthy for the body, not polyunsaturated fat.
2) “Low-fat” simply means more sugar and carbs to replace what the company took out.
3) Buy everything organic.
4) Eat grass-fed meats, free-range chickens and wild salmon
Shop at a farmer’s market, not the grocery store. Farmer’s markets helps a person get some of the foods mentioned above. Remember, these foods are better for the body and healthy, but does not sacrifice taste.
