Merriam Webster’s Dictionary defines turbulence as “a great commotion or agitation.” Many travelers have experienced turbulence on airplanes and know the sinking feeling it creates as all expectations of a smooth and easy flight are tossed aside. There’s now a workout program that throws all expectations out the window and gives people an easy to follow, three day a week workout.

Craig Ballantyne named his fitness program Turbulence Training because it agitates the body, works it hard over a short period of time, and prevents muscle memory ensuring an effective muscle-building, fat-blasting workout every time.

Using an easy to follow blueprint this revolutionary workout program guides users through strength training and intervals using a special combination of short bursts of high-intensity cardio and turbulence training review complementary supersets combining a lower body and an upper body strength training exercise back-to-back with no rest. In his October 2004 Men’s Fitness article Ballantyne refers to these combinations of two body weight bearing exercises as non-competing supersets because they use different muscle groups which works nearly the entire body out with just two simple exercises.
